In NSF certified tests for purification, Shawano Specialty Papers water filtration technology removed 95% of chlorine, 97% of sediment, and 98% of lead. The water filtration products were tested and certified to ANSI/NSF Standard 53 for Lead and Lindane (a common pesticide) Reduction, and to ANSI/NSF Standard 42 for Taste, Odor and Chlorine Reduction Class I, and for Particulate Reduction, Class II.
